Wings Gymnasts' Medal Wins in Belgium Awarded by Olympian Viktoriia Onopriienko

Wings Gymnastics Club is delighted to announce the outstanding achievements of its competitive squad at the recent 3rd Forza Cup in Gent, Belgium. The gymnasts demonstrated exceptional skill and dedication, bringing home a collection of medals that reflect their hard work and commitment throughout the season.

The competition saw several Wings gymnasts achieve podium finishes both Saturday, May 17th and Sunday 18th. The medal tally is as follows:

🥈Skylar Ann de Beer- All-around Mini C

🥉Nemayian Neto - All-around Mini C

🥉Hanna Tryhub- All-around Children C

🥈Ariane- Eugénie Selve - Hoop Pre-Junior B

🥇Charlie Bock-Weck - Free Routine Children A

👑 Sadie Grehan - Miss Smile

All the medals and awards were awarded by the world champion Viktoriia Onopriienko, who was present at the event. The Tokyo 2020 finalist gave the medals and certificates to all participating gymnasts personally, inspiring our club's young gymnasts. She also performed in the events closing Gala with ribbon.

"We are incredibly proud of all our gymnasts," said Head of Delgation and Safeguarding officer James Walsh. "Their dedication and perseverance throughout the season have been truly inspiring. Their success at the Forza Cup is a testament to their hard work, the coaching staff's expertise, and the supportive environment within the club."

The club extends its congratulations to all the participating gymnasts and looks forward to celebrating their continued success in future competitions. WRGC also thanks organisers, Forza Ritmica and Viktoriia Onopriienko for making this a great experience for our young gymnasts.

The attention now shifts to the Wings Cup 2025. Organised by the club, this event will the place Sunday, June 15th in the Moate Sports and Recreation Centre. The event host gymnasts from WRGC and others. The event will also close with the performance of our recreational gymnasts and Indian dance. Get your tickets here!
