About the event
Wings Rhythmic Gymnastics Club (WRGC) is hosting a pilot judging preparation workshop. This initiative
is done in preparation of the Wings Cup 2024, taking place the second weekend of June. Those who
attend the workshop and assist with judging won't need to pay a competition entry fee or additional
training fees.
This workshop offers exclusive and fresh insight to the New Code of Points (CoP) for the upcoming cycle
from the perspective of the Technical Committee (TC)

Assessment: Sun 28th April; 11:00 AM-12:30 PM
Aim
- To introduce learners to Rhythmic Gymnastics rules and familiarise with the Code of Points (CoP)
- You will be taught individual generalities
- Prepare those willing to become accredited judges by giving them foundational knowledge
- Practice judging execution and other judging panel roles for in-house competitions

- Free access to STS (Sport Training Systems) subscription. It includes: Presentation by the Technical Committee (TC),judging practice videos with access to Brevet Judging notes, Elements Glossary with videos, Judging FAQ answered by TC.
Assessment
- Theory test and practical test
Opportunities
- If the assessment is passed Wings Rhythmic Gymnastics offers to fund official and accredited judge education.
- By passing the assessment participants will be able to judge execution at club events.
- Those who fail still qualify to be time judge, line judge or computer judge
- Judging at club events also means that there will be no charge for competition entry fees or preparation for competition fees (regardless of passing/ failing)
*The WRGC Judging Preparation workshop is not an accredited rhythmic gymnastics judging course and
it does not qualify participants to judge at rhythmic gymnastics events outside the club. This course’s
intention is to prepare those willing to access official judging courses, provide awareness about the
sport and it is only valid for in-house competitions.
